Siren Of Atlantis (1949)

Two French legionnaires, Lt. Andre St. Avit (Jean-Pierre Aumont) and Capt. Jean Morhange (Dennis O'Keefe), track a lost expedition when they are captured and brought to the city of Atlantis. There, Andre falls in love with Queen Antinea (Maria Montez), a great beauty with a heart of ice, who is prone to murdering the men she takes as her lovers. While Jean is blind to the danger they're both in, Andre makes a desperate attempt to escape.

On September 7th, 1951 Maria Montez was discovered drowned in her bath, possibly having first suffered a heart attack. She was 39 years old.
