Midnight Ripper (1986)

After discovering that his wife is having an affair, Nicola (Leonardo Treviglio) storms out of the family home. His wife Sarah (Barbara Scoppa) decides to have a shower and is hacked to death by an unseen assailant. Inspector Pierro Terzi (Paolo Malco) is brought in to handle the case and it appears the crime is an open and shut case – a crime of passion. After some new evidence surfaces it appears there may be a serial killer responsible for the murder. Also with Valeria D’Obici and Lara Wendel. (In Italian language, with English subtitles).
