Maxine (Tracy Ryan), a beautiful superstar, has been receiving threatening letters from an unknown stalker. Maxine hires Jack (P. Adam Walsh), a bodyguard, to protect her. They begin to develop feelings for each other but they hold back. Eventually, Jack discovers the stalker: Leah (Monique Parent), Maxine's best friend who had always been in love with Maxine.
