Didier Formenter (Jean-Paul Moulinot) has just finished work on an invention that will be able to destroy any sort of aircraft. An international crime gang wants to steal his invention to sell it to the higher bidder. Menaced, the scientist calls Nick Carter (Eddie Constantine) for help. At Nice airport, Nick escapes death, but that night he is unable to stop Formenter's murder. He suspects Bruno (Charles Belmont), Formenter's adoptive son, and Tonio (Paul Frankeur), the owner of a bar near Formentier's home. Bruno is actually after Formenter's granddaughter, Catherine (Daphné Dayle). Therefore, Nick finds himself against more than the gang. Will Nick uncover the plot in time?
