Pathfinders In Space (1960)

First entry in the Pathfinders series. Professor Norman Wedgewood (Peter Williams) and his family plan a rocket mission to the Moon. Geoff, Valarie and Jimmy (Steward Guidotti, Gillian Ferguson and Richard Dean) are on hand for the launch of a new rocket MR1 (Moon Rocket 1), along with journalist friend Conway Henderson (Gerald Flood). While enroute to the moon, the family encounters an alien spaceship.
