What's wrong with The Black Man winning for a change? Best known for their 1969 soul hit Black Pearl, The Checkmates LTD boogied into the film world with this incredible blaxploitation epic. It's a “sex heist” film set in Las Vegas that has Sonny Charles, Bobby Stevens and Sweet Louie battling some jive mobsters over cash and drugs. Also features naked chicks, kung fu and Afros in this Harry Novak crime caper.
