Journey Among Women (1977)

Set in Australia during the early colonial period. A group of female convicts, after being subjected to endless ridicule and sexual abuse from their male guards, escape into the Outback and struggle for survival. This controversial film was banned from Australian TV for a time due to due to the themes of lesbianism, full-frontal female nudity and strong violence. Stars June Pritchard, Martin Phelan and Nell Campbell.
