As a gang of youths terrorizes a city, the weary chief of police (Martin Balsam) finds himself caught between the citizens who cry for blood and a catholic priest (Rossano Brazzi) who believes the boys will respond to kindness. Also stars Joe Dallesandro and Magali Noël. (In Italian language).

Martin Balsam died of a heart attack at a hotel in Rome, Italy called Residenza di Repetta on February 13, 1996 at age 76. A maid found him lying on the floor near his bed.
