aka: A Heritage Of Blood

Years after being traumatized by witnessing the drowning deaths of her beloved father (Richard McNichol) and stepmother (Marcia Watkins) as a child (Pamela Dawn), a wealthy young woman (Marion Joyce) is released from a sanitarium and returns to the remote country estate where she grew up. Shortly afterwards, her psychiatrist (Erik Rolfe), her estranged, greedy brother (G.E. Barrymore) and his beautiful but immoral fiance (Bianca Sloane) converge on the estate and then a series of grisly murders begins.

This extremely rare film came from an uncut Dutch import print in good picture quality.

TRIVIA: It wasn’t until October of 2005 that it was publicly discovered that Roger Watkins directed Shadows Of The Mind, under the pseudonym “Bernard Travis”.

Director Roger Watkins wasn’t satisfied with Shadows Of The Mind and in 1980, he directed a film called Spitoon, which was a fictionalized account of Shadow’s troubled production. However, he disliked the final result so much that he destroyed the negative. Therefore no copies were ever made.
