Black Maid, The (1976)

Concerns an apartment block with all its jealousies, gossip and other problems. The concierge, Placido (Franco Latini), is constatly battling with the elevator that doesn’t work; the nostalgic administrator with his worldly ways; the Lombardinis, a typical middle-class family; Antenore (Gino Pagnani), a rather inconclusive anarchist; Eleonora, an ex-actress; Lola (Magda Konopka), a rather extravagant painter. Also there is Mariolina (Femi Benussi), a maid, who offers herself to Paul Lombardini, with whom she has fallen in love. Soon, Aminta (Carla Brait) arrives, newly employed by the Lombardini family. She is soon the center of everyone’s attention. But while she encourages her admirers, she is laughing at them behind their backs. Also with Gianni Dei and Carla Calт.
