Flying Saucer, The (1964)

A local police inspector and his bumbling assistant investigate reports of “strange goings-on” in a rural community. They soon discover a flying saucer occupied by beautiful female aliens, dressed in silver “bathing suits.” Stars Alberto Sordi, Monica Vitti and Eleonora Rossi Drago. Also with Silvana Mangano, Guido Celano and Erika Blanc (uncredited). Directed by Tinto Brass. Produced by Dino De Laurentiis, who went on to produce King Kong in 1976.
