Mysterious Island Of Beautiful Women, The (1979)

When six men crash-land on a lush tropical island, they encounter a tribe of women who have never known anything but a brutal daily struggle for survival. With Steven Keats, Clint Walker, Peter Lawford, Jayne Kennedy and Rosalind Chao (aka: Keiko O’Brien from Star Trek TNG and Star Trek DS9).

In the early 1980’s, Jayne Kennedy had the dubious distinction of being one of the first celebrities to endure a “home sex video” scandal when a tape of sex acts with her ex-husband was stolen from him after their divorce. Due to VCR’s not yet being widespread, circulation of the tape was restricted to a relatively small audience. It is speculated that the release of this tape essentially led to the end her career, as it contained scenes of various sex acts, including fisting, which went against her wholesome image.

Also in the early 1980’s, Jayne Kennedy was diagnosed with endometriosis. Sometimes painful, usually chronic, endometriosis develops when endometrial cells – cells that compose the lining of the uterus and are shed during monthly menstrual cycles – grow outside the uterus. One of the results can be infertility. However, Jayne was still able to bear three children.
