Backfire (1987)

Shell-shocked Vietnam veteran Donny (Jeff Fahey) is pushed to the point of suicide by his wife Mara (Karen Allen), who wants him dead so that she can inherit his fortune and be with her lover. The plan begins to backfire when Mara’s lover disappears and then she meets Reed (Keith Carradine). Also with Bernie Casey.
