Dr. Quatermass (Brian Donlevy), the director of an important scientific base for the colonization of the moon, investigates a fall of meteorites in a nearby village. He discovers a huge base under a strict military control. The factory is the place chosen by aliens to conquer Earth. They come in the form of a living gas hidden in the meteors and they must use the human body to live in our atmosphere. Also stars John Longden and Sidney James.
