A masked superhero searches for a magical golden relic while trying to prevent the plundering of an Egyptian tomb. Stars Mauro Parenti, Lucretia Love and Gordon Mitchell. Also with John Karlsen and Carla Romanelli.
NOTE: Gordon Mitchell (aka: Charles Allen Pendleton) was one of those perfectly developed bodybuilders who jumped on the Steve Reeves bandwagon and traveled to Italy to seek film stardom as a Herculean strongman. Adept at displaying both heroics and villainy, he developed his own core of fans, but when the fad wore off in around 1965, Mitchell (unlike many of his colleagues in that field who just dropped out of sight) stayed on and appeared in over 100 more films, many of them in the “spaghetti western” genre, staying true to the country that made him a star. On September 20th, 2003, he died in his sleep from natural causes. He was 80.
NOTE: This film comes from a very rare Japanese import print in very nice picture quality. It is by far the best English language version of this film currently available anywhere.
