Monster Walks, The (1932)

The body of Dr. Earlton (Sheldon Lewis) lies in state at the old Earlton Mansion as the family gathers for the reading of the will. The dead doctor was a researcher and as such kept a pet ape named Yogi in the cellar. This ape hates Dr. Earlton’s daughter, Ruth (Vera Reynolds) (jealous of his master’s affection is the reason given), and she lives in terror that Yogi could get loose. Also stars Rex Lease.
