Jean Evans (Phyllis Coates), from an international wildlife foundation, has made herself at home in Africa as the elephant-riding, vine-swinging, mini-skirted “Panther Girl.” On safari to film animals, Jean encounters something really strange: giant crayfish monsters (created by greedy scientist Dr. Morgan (Arthur Space) who, with his henchmen, hopes to scare everyone out of the district, then secretly mine diamonds). Jungle perils aplenty stand between Jean and her hunter friend Larry (Myron Healey) and their goal of tracking the Claw Monsters to its source.
